MOSCOW, Jul 17 (PRIME) -- Steel output of Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) increased 3.8% on the quarter to 3.182 million tonnes in April–June, the company said in a statement Monday.
In January–June, steel production rose 0.6% on the year to 6.248 million tonnes.
Metal products sales fell 3.2% on the year to 5.605 million tonnes in January–June and increased 5.9% on the quarter to 2.882 million tonnes in April–June.
